What will your daily life look like?

By joigning our group, you will work for our Business Unit Envera. 

Envera develops specific microbial products for a range of applications and is helping customers achieve their business goals through the discovery, isolation, and production of bacteria. Since its acquisition by Lesaffre, new investments (acquisition of new equipment, utilities upgrade) have been done at the facility. In order to sustain Envera growth and to continue to increase the productivity of our site, we need a talented colleague able to perform process studies and manage engineering project following Lesaffre best practices.

As Process and project engineer, you will:

  • Lead CAPEX projects and studies associated with (dimensioning of equipment, budget definition, identification of vendors phasing and execution). 
  • Optimize fermentation and down stream processes (centrifuge and spray drying).
  • Lead process studies to optimize the blending processes (dry and liquid).
  • Conduct and coordinate with production managers studies and continuous improvement actions (in terms of time, organization and cost).
  • Lead  miscellaneous improvement and maintenance project such as new equipment implementation, spare part stock verification, PM implementation
  • Perform industrial trials.

Required qualifications:
– Master/Engineer degree in food industrial, process, chemical or mechanical engineering.
– Ideally two years of working experience (interships and apprenticeships included)
– An experience in biotech / food environment would be a plus.
– Proficient in spoken and written English
– Solid knowledge of unit operations of industrial processes.
– Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
– Good knowledge of fluid mechanics.
– Ability to read and develop technical drawings. 
– Ability to prioritize and organize tasks within the framework of projects
– Computer proficiency in CAD, Spreadsheet and email software required.
